The ishasha wilderness camp in Queen Elizabeth national park – Uganda safari news

Fwildreness campor about ten (10) years now, visitors to Queen Elizabeth National Park have enjoyed the sweetest of dreams while on Uganda Tours and Safaris, courtesy of the Ishasha Wilderness Camp. The lodge is intentionally located in one of the park’s remotest but still exceptional areas (the Ishasha sector) offering nights and days of genuine sensations of the divine African wilderness. The Camp is just along the life-giving and life-attracting Ntungwe River, and beautifully veiled behind thick-green vegetation.
Comfortable lodging is offered in ten large rooms which are skillfully furnished to mirror the unspoiled country in which the Wilderness camp is built. All the rooms have large snug beds with very cozy and clean bedding (the kind which you would find in the city); and also have large entryways which offer numerous points from which to stand and gaze into the incomparable Queen Elizabeth National Park. The Camp’s visitors also have access to clean en-suite but still Eco-friendly restrooms. The restrooms feature modern flush toilets, a dressing area and clean cold and hot water for guests to have the perfect bush showers.
Meals are also availed to their guests on Safaris and tours to the Ugandan western National Park of Queen Elizabeth. These are served from a kitchen and fine dining which were constructed using basically sourced materials like straw, wood and stones. Meals are accompanied by drinks from a bar which is well-stocked with both locally processed drinks and some cherished international varieties. Tea and coffee is brought to the guests’ rooms early in the morning purposely to enable them to listen to the wild morning sounds of the park’s animals.
Eco-friendly solar energy is available to light all the rooms at the lodge; and charging spots are located at the lodge’s central area where tourists can charge their gadgets. Tourists will have enough power on their cameras to capture all the invaluable beauties that they will experience as part of their safaris and tours to Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The Ishasha sector has close proximity with the fauna-flooded Mweya sector of Queen Elizabeth and is about 2 hours and 30 minutes from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest which accommodates about half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. But the Ishasha area is an undeniably suitable place to also view a great number of unique bird and mammal species. The celebrities of this area are the Ishasha tree-climbing lions which travelers will miss out on seeing if they do not travel to the Ishasha sector. Ishasha Wilderness Camp might actually be the closest point that any Uganda Safari traveler will ever get to living their dream of a night in the African wilderness.
