Mountain gorillas excite many as Uganda exhibits at the World Travel Market in London

Lasting for 3 days, the exhibition ends 7th November 2018 and within this time, mountain gorillas excite many as Uganda exhibits at the World Travel Market in London at the Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, ExCeL London, E16 1XL. The World Travel Market started way back in 1980 after a launch by Duke of Kent and Miss World Kimberly Santos of Guam. From then, this has been a great platform for any destination to showcase their destinations because the World Travel Market connects the world’s travel providers with remarkable insight and opportunity. Since great ideas arrive here, at the exhibition, you see the known world re-imagined with boundaries unlocked. This year the launch is about Travel Forward which is the most exciting tech event in the travel industry as a platform to inspire the travel and hospitality industry with the next generation of technology.
Being the pearl of Africa, Uganda undeniably exhibited at the worlds biggest travel exhibition on stand AF640. Facts about Mountain gorillas

Proudly mountain gorillas only survive in their natural habitats in only three African countries of Uganda, Rwanda and Congo.
Uganda has the biggest number of mountain gorillas living in the two national parks of Bwindi impenetrable national park and Mgahinga gorilla national park. The other mountain gorillas survive in Rwanda’s Volcanoes national park and Congo’s Virunga national park.
Mountain gorillas live in families each led by a dominant male known as the silverback, named by the grey fur that develops on their backs when they grow older.
A male adult gorilla is estimated at eat more than 18 kg (40 lbs.) of vegetation each single day. Since the high altitudes that host them are cooler, gorillas rarely drink water.
Most of the water that they consume is gotten from the vegetation they feed on. They at times absorb water from due using the fur on the back of their hands and then suck it.
During the exhibition, Uganda showcases several products ranging from cultures, flora, fauna, water wonders, birds and a lot of amazing products to promote Uganda safaris. Richard Quest, a presenter at CNN visited Uganda’s stand to gaze at the grate beauty held in the Pearl of Africa.

Mountain Gorilla Behavior,Diet,Threats and Predators
