Day 1 of the 10 days Uganda gorilla safari, chimpanzee trekking & wildlife tour
When you arrive at Entebbe international airport, a Uganda wildlife safari driver guide welcomes you to Uganda, gives a briefing and then ensures all your transfers to a hotel/lodge in Kampala or Entebbe. As early as 7:00am, a knowledgeable Uganda safari driver guide picks you up from your hotel or lodge in Kampala then start the drive to Murchison Falls National Park. After about 2-3hours drive, your Uganda wildlife tour experience starts with a branch off to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking on foot in their only home in Uganda. After about 2 hours of Rhino tracking, you drive for lunch and then continue to Murchison falls park. At Murchison falls park, expect to be at the park headquarters by 7:00am for a morning game drive for early morning risers’ sightings. Elephants, lions, leopards and buffaloes alongside other species make the common sightings of the morning. What an amazing drive in the vast savannah plains of northern Uganda, it lasts 2-4 hours then after you return to your lodge/hotel for lunch and refreshment. In the evening at 2:00pm, you go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the thunderous Murchison falls home to numerous hippopotamuses and crocodiles. After an amazing experience during this time of your wildlife safari in Uganda, you are driven back to your lodging facility for dinner and an overnight.

Early morning, you will be at Kibale forest park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking experience. Starting at 8:00am, the trek lasts 2-5 hours through the jungle though only 1 hour in the presence of the chimpanzees. After chimpanzee trekking, you have lunch at your lodging facility then transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park on about a 2-3 hours drive. On this day, you rise early for a drive to Queen Elizabeth national park for a morning game drive with for wildlife viewings. After early morning wake up, you have breakfast and be driven to your gorilla trekking sector in Bwindi forest national park for a Uganda gorilla trekking tour experience. Before you get into the gorilla habitat, you have a 30minutes briefing by the park rangers on gorilla trekking etiquette at 8:00am and gorilla family allocation according to physical ability. About 2-8 hours are spent in the jungle and only 1 out of them in the presence of these gentle giants.
