The safari features a game drive, boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth National park, chimpanzee trekking at kibale forest national park and gorilla trekking at Virunga national park.

Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you are driven in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle to a hotel/lodge in Kampala for a rest. In the morning, you are transferred to Kibale forest national park with a stop at the equator line for chimpanzee trekking the next day. Day 1: On arrival at Entebbe international airport, a knowledgeable driver guide picks you up, gives a brief on the trip and transfers you to a hotel in Kampala for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2: Early morning, your driver guide picks you up and starts the road trip to Kibale forest national park arriving in the evening.

Day 3: By 7:00am, you will be at Kibale forest park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking, return for lunch and then go for a nature walk at bigodi wetland in the evening.

Day 1 of the 8 days wildlife tour in Uganda & gorilla safari Congo

On early arrival at Entebbe international airport, you are picked up by your professional Uganda safari driver guide, briefs you on the trip and transfers you to a booked hotel or lodge in Kampala. Driving across the bustling capital of Uganda, its amazing experience as you have a glimpse of a city in Africa. Here you spend the night as you prepare for the road trip to the countryside the next day.

Day 2 of the 8 days wildlife tour in Uganda & gorilla safari Congo

After breakfast, your driver guide picks you up and starts the drive to Kibale forest national park. A stop is made at the equator line in Kayabwe for the equator experience. Arriving in the evening after about 6-7hours on a road drive, you check in, relax and spend a night at a close accommodation in Kibale forest national park that was prior booked. Day 3 of the 8 days wildlife tour in Uganda & gorilla safari Congo

Early morning after breakfast, you are driven to Kibale forest park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking starting at 8:00am and lasting about 2-4 hours in the jungle. Being our closest relatives, taking time to visit the chimpanzees is one of the amazing things you can do on a Uganda wildlife safari. After chimpanzee trekking and spending a single hour with the chimpanzees, you return to your lodging facility for lunch and relaxation before you are driven to Bigodi wetland for a nature walk and bird watching since this is one the best Uganda birding safari destinations. In the evening you return to your lodging facility for dinner.

Day 4 of the 8 days wildlife tour in Uganda & gorilla safari Congo

After breakfast, your wildlife tour Uganda continues with about 2-3hours drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival, you check in and have lunch at a prior booked hotel then go for an evening boat cruise/launch cruise along the 45km kazinga channel that joins Lakes George and Albert which hosts a huge number of hippopotamuses and crocodiles. Later on, you are then driven back to an accommodation in Queen Elizabeth National Park where you spend the night. After a relaxed breakfast-the last one in Uganda, your driver starts a drive to Congo using your 4x4 safari vehicle. Arriving in the afternoon after about 3-4hours drive, you check in, refresh and have a meal at a booked accommodation in Virunga national park.

Day 7 of the 8 days wildlife tour in Uganda & gorilla safari Congo

Be ready to have early morning breakfast then be driven to Virunga national park headquarters for Congo mountain gorilla trekking. Gorilla trekking starts at 8:00am after briefing by the park rangers and allocation of a gorilla family to trek along with 7 other Congo gorilla trekkers. The actual trek in the forest lasts about 2-6 hours and only a single hour in the presence of the gentle mountain gorillas. After the trek, you will return to the park headquarters where you meet your driver for a transfer back to your lodging facility.
