Start your day with early morning breakfast at the lodge before joining your ranger in your open 4x4 safari land cruiser for your morning game drive in the park. This half day game drive will offer you opportunity to spot a variety of wild animals including elephants, buffalos, lions, Masai giraffe, gazelles, impala, baboons, oribi, Burchell’s zebra, topi, bush baby, leopard and bushbuck. Wake up to an early morning breakfast at the lodge and then transfer to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters with your packed lunch before 8am for your briefing by the park rangers on how you are going to carry out your Rwanda gorilla trekking safari. After the briefing, you will be led by the rangers into the forest in search for the brilliant apes. You will use slippery and muddy trails along the Volcanoe slopes which is a little challenging. This Rwanda gorilla tour will last between 2-8 hours including the 1 hour that will be given to you after spotting the mountain gorillas. During this hour, you will watch the gorilla carryout their activities, feed, build nests, cuddle giving you chance to take lots of pictures.
