Upon arrival, your driver guide will transfer you from the airport for a short Kigali city tour to Gisozi genocide memorial center. Here you have the chance to learn about the history of the country and how the country recovered from the 1994 genocide. After this tour, you will be driven to the prior booked lodging facility for dinner and an overnight stay in Kigali city.

Waking up at the land of a thousand hills, after a relaxed breakfast, your driver guide will drive you 193km south west of Rwanda to Nyungwe forest national park for a Rwanda wildlife tour. After going past the amazing backdrop of the rolling hills of Rwanda, you arrive in Nyungwe forest national park where you will have dinner and an overnight at an accommodation facility close to the park.

On day 3 of your 6 days Rwanda safari, you will be driven to the park headquarters in Nyungwe forest national park where you will trek chimpanzees for about 2-4hours. After the trek, you will be driven back to your lodging facility for a meal and refreshment. In the evening, you will be driven to the Uwinka tourist reception center at the park headquarters for the start of your 2 hours canopy walk. This is one of the amazing walks in Rwanda where after you are returned to an accommodation facility for dinner and relaxation.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will be driven by your driver guide past beautiful landscapes for 258km to Volcanoes national park for your Rwanda gorilla trekking tour experience the next morning. Upon arrival, you will check in, have dinner and an overnight at your prior booked accommodation in Volcanoes national park.

Day 5 of your 6 days Rwanda gorilla safari Volcanoes & Nyungwe chimpanzee trekking tour

Expect to be up early at your lodging facility, have breakfast and be transferred by your driver guide to the park headquarters for an amazing Rwanda gorilla trekking safari experience. Anticipate to be at the park headquarters for briefing by 8:00am and be allocated a gorilla family to trek according to your physical ability. Gorilla trekking takes about 2-5 hours with only 1 magical hour of mesmerizing at how human like these species can be.
