The 14 Days Wildlife Safari Uganda Gorilla Safari Rwanda is a Uganda-Rwanda Gorilla Trekking and wildlife Safari. The trip takes you to the prime safari destinations of Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. In Rwanda you go for another gorilla trekking experience to Volcanoes National Park where you also track golden monkeys and visit the Dian Fossey Centre.Using a 4x4 safari vehicle you go for Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the second day of your trip as you are transferred to Murchison falls national park. You undertake a game drive, boat cruise and hike to the top of Murchison Falls at Murchison Falls National Park. From Murchison falls park you are driven to Kibale forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking. Continuing with the trip in the beautiful hillslopes of western Uganda, you are driven to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive and boat cruise in Kazinga channel. You then go for Gorilla trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park then after relax at the shores of Lake Bunyonyi. From Lake Bunyonyi, you are transferred to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park where you go gorilla trekking again, track golden monkeys and visit the Dian Fossey Centre. You later on depart via Kigali International Airport in Rwanda.

Day 1: When you arrive at Entebbe international airport, you meet your safari driver guide for a transfer to your lodging facility.Day 2: From Kampala, you are transferred to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking then after continue to Murchison Falls National Park arriving in the evening.
Day 3: You undertake a morning game drive, an afternoon boat cruise and a hike to the top of the mighty Murchison Falls in the evening.
Day 4: From Murchison falls you are driven to Kibale Forest National Park.
Day 5: In the morning, you undertake chimpanzee trekking then take a bigodi nature walk in the evening.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 7: You undertake a morning game drive then an afternoon 45km long Kazinga channel boat cruise.
Day 8: From Queen Elizabeth National Park, you are transferred to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is the largest gorilla habitat in Uganda.
Day 9: For about 2-8hours of the day from 8:00am you will be in the jungle for gorilla trekking.
Day 10: From Bwindi forest, you are transferred to Lake Bunyonyi where you spend the rest of the day relaxing at the shores of Africa’s deepest lake.
Day 11: In the morning, you are transferred from Lake Bunyonyi to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park.
Day 12: You go for second gorilla trekking at Volcanoes National Park.
Day 13: You return to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking and a hike to the Dian Fossey Conservation Centre.
Day 14: You have a Kigali City tour then after depart via Kigali International Airport.

With arrival at Entebbe International Airport -Uganda’s international airport, you meet and greet with your driver guide who will ensure all the transfers and information you need all through your trip. You are driven from Entebbe International Airport to a booked hotel in Kampala-Uganda’s capital where you spend the night and relax from jet lag.Day 2 of the 14 Days Wildlife Safari Uganda Gorilla Safari Rwanda/Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari
From your hotel/lodge in Kampala, your Uganda wildlife safari driver guide picks you up for the drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking on foot 169km away in Nakasongola district off Kampala-Gulu highway on a about a 3 hours drive. After about 2 hours of Rhino tracking, you have lunch and continue with the drive to Murchison Falls National Park 151km away on another 3 hours’ drive. A morning game drive at Murchison Falls park starts your day from 7:00am within the vast savannah plains of the park. The elephants, lions, leopards and buffaloes alongside many more wild species are possible sightings of the morning. The game drive within wildlife natural habitat lasts 2-4 hours then after return to your lodge for lunch or have packed lunch.In the afternoon at 2:00pm, you go for a boat cruise/launch trip to the bottom of the awe-inspiring Murchison falls where you look out for numerous schools of hippos, crocodiles and water birds at the bottom of the falls. At the boat set off point you have chance to experience the traditional music and dance from the local people of this community. The boat cruise to the bottom of the falls offers a start point for the hike to the top of the magnificent Murchison falls that takes about 40mins to 1hour. You find your driver guide waiting for you at the top of the falls for a drive back to your lodging facility.

From Murchison Falls National Park, you have your last breakfast early morning and then embark on a drive to Kibale Forest National Park. You briefly stop at the Ndali Kasenda crater field for scenic views of the crater lakes. These are known as crater lakes because at their time of explosion, they were violent spewing ash and rock. By dawn, you will be at Kibale forest park for chimpanzee trekking after having early morning breakfast. chimpanzee trekking starts at 8:00am within Kibale forest lasting 2-5 hours in the jungle though only 1 hour in the presence of the chimpanzees. After watching the chimpanzees at play and taking pictures, you return to the park headquarters where you meet your driver guide. You have lunch and then go for a nature walk at bigodi wetland adjacent to the park on a 13minutes drive. Here you relax in the wetland marshes of bigodi which host several bird species. After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up for a tour within Fort Portal town transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Before you continue with your drive, you take a visit to the Amabere g’ Nyinamwiru Caves, for an exploration of the breast-like features that are believed to be breasts of Nyinamwiru the mother of Ndahura the famous Muchwezi ruler who expanded the Chwezi Empire across the interlacustrine/great Lakes region. After the visit to the caves, you continue for a hike to the Fort Portal Crater lake field where you explore the effects of explosive volcanicity that left behind beautiful small lakes surrounded with birds. After a morning cup of African coffee at your lodging facility at Queen Elizabeth park after early breakfast, you are driven to the park for a morning game drive. Less strenuous, this safari activity offers you about 2-4hours of wildlife sightings including lions, zebras, waterbucks and many more. After lunch in the afternoon you will embark on a boat cruise along the 45km long Kazinga channel. During the boat cruise, you will have the opportunity to view great numbers of wildlife like elephants monitor lizards, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and several bird species. This morning after breakfast, you are transferred to Bwindi impenetrable national park driving through the Ishasha sector which is popular to host tree climbing lions for an en route game drive. Possible sightings here can include tree climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants, water bucks, bush bucks, Uganda Kobs and many more. In the morning, you are driven to an allocated gorilla trekking sector in Bwindi impenetrable national park for mountain gorilla trekking. Before you get into the gorilla homeland, you have a briefing by the park rangers on Uganda gorilla trekking safari etiquette at 8:00am for about 30 minutes. In case of need, there potters who can help you carry any luggage such as packed lunch, water and any other items such as cameras are available. In case one fails to take on the trek of the steep mountains a stretcher can be hired at a fee. About 2-8 hours are spent in the jungle and only 1 out of them in the presence of these gentle giants. After your last breakfast at the foothills of the gorilla home, you are driven to lake Bunyonyi which is the deepest lake in Africa. Arriving in the afternoon, you have lunch then take a canoe ride to the punishment island. This island is one of a kind in Africa with very touching stories of its past. Along with a local guide on the boat you will take this refreshing cruise to the island that has only 1 tree surviving on it. From your accommodation facility close to Lake Bunyonyi you are driven out of the Pearl of Africa to Rwanda dubbed the Land of a thousand hills. Driving past the scenic backdrop of the Virunga mountains, you arrive to the beautiful Volcanoes National Park which is also home to mountain gorillas. After early morning breakfast at your accommodation facility close to Volcanoes National Park, you are transferred to the park for gorilla trekking. Your Rwanda gorilla trekking safari experience starts with briefing at 8:00am by the park rangers who remind you of the Rwanda gorilla trekking etiquette. You then get into the jungle alongside 7 other trekkers and an armed park ranger where you spend about 2-6hours in the jungle and a single hour in the presence of the gentle mountain gorillas. Another day to get to the jungle again, after breakfast, you return to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking. This is the only Rwanda safari destination where Mountain Gorillas and golden monkeys co-exist and the experience lasts about 4 hours. In the afternoon, you pay a tribute visit to the Dian Fossey Centre where you learn a lot from Mountain Gorillas and the conservation story. On the last day of your safari, after breakfast, you check out and be driven to Kigali town where you undertake a short city tour on a visit to the genocide memorial center. You learn about the history of Rwanda and then after be driven to the airport for departure. In case of need, you can also do some shopping before your driver guide takes you to Kigali International Airport for a departure flight.
