Wake up very early in the morning, have breakfast at your hotel in Kampala / Entebbe as you prepare to meet with your Uganda safari driver guide. Meet and greet, after he will give you a shirt briefing about your 7 days safari in Uganda. Depart at 6:30am for Murchison Falls National Park to Uganda’s north west for about 311km in about 5 hours’ excluding stops en route. You will break your journey at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a Rhino trekking safari giving you chance to explore the only population of Southern White Rhinos in Uganda and this last for 2 hours. You are required to cross with the 7am ferry if you slept in the south or start the game drive at 6:30am if you slept in the north and inside the park gaining rich possibilities of spotting Elephants, Rothschild Giraffes, Lion, Buffalo, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Leopard, Oribis, Kobs, waterbucks among others. A game drive in the park will last about 3 – 4 hours, have breakfast and lunch & at 2pm, you will take a Nile launch cruise that departs Paraa Jetty to the bottom of the falls cruising on the world’s longest River. Have breakfast at 7am at your lodge and connect to Kanyanchu tourism center for briefing at 8am from the ranger guides in the park. After the briefing, you will be led into the forest which for 2 – 5 hours in search of Chimpanzees. Kibale National Park is a rich bio-diverse destination with great flora including flowering plants, tall and mature trees some of which are medicinal and others are favorites to wild animals, 375 species of birds not forgetting 13 primate species. The one hour with Chimpanzees is a memorable one as you explore them feed, patrol, fight, mate, play, display their jumping skills among other interesting features as you take amazing photoshoots. Mountain Gorillas are known to thrive only in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda and the Greater Virunga massif shared by Uganda Rwanda and Congo. With their population estimated at 880, Bwindi alone has a minimum of 400 Mountain Gorillas and thus best placed for gorilla trekking adventure. Briefing for this activity starts at 8am after the armed park rangers lead you to this amazing dense forest hiking up and down the steep slopes intercepted by narrow valleys amidst the enchanting bird songs and lush flora. The gorilla trekking duration lasts 2 – 8 hours but the actual viewing is limited to one hour for purposes of Conservation and it is an incredible moment viewing them as they forage and socialize while taking good photo shoots. Early in the morning, after your breakfast at your lodging facility, you will set off for Lake Mburo National Park from Lake Bunyonyi driving for about 6 hours. Arrive at the park, check in at your lodge, have lunch and go for your afternoon boat cruise along Lake Mburo. During the boat cruise, you will see lots of water animals including hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife animals that you may spot along the lake quenching their thirst. besides the animals, you will also see several birds around the Lake. Have a cup of coffee in the morning before you set off for your early morning game drive in the park to catch the early morning risers as they get out of their hide outs to look for their prey. During your game drive, you will see lots elands, zebras, impalas and many more other unique animals. Following breakfast, set off for the transfer to Kampala 437km approximately 7 hours’ drive enjoying the views of south western Uganda landscapes including Banana plantations and cattle farms. A traditional lunch stop will be made at Igongo Cultural center for a thrilling Ugandan buffet and another stop at Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe where you can justify the geographical divide between the north and south hemispheres. It is also a good site for photo shoots and souvenir purchase.

Day 10 of the 13 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda, wildlife tour & Kampala city tour : Do a Kampala city tour and transfer back to the lodge

 You will wake up early in the morning and kick off your day early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala. At around 8am, you will meet our representative; your driver guide who will take you through a briefing about your 3 days Kampala and Jinja city tour. After the briefing, you will depart for your one-day Kampala city tour visiting the Buganda cultural sites like the royal palace in Mengo. This is the main palace and official residence for the Kingdom of Buganda, of the four generations of reigning Monarchies and the members of the Royal Family since 1885, full of exciting scenes and art galleries. It is situated on Mengo hill opposite the headquarters of the Kingdom Administration at Bulange. You will then drive to Kasubi Tombs; an active religious place in the Buganda Kingdom as well as a burial ground for the Kings of Buganda. After Kasubi tombs, you will visit Rubaga cathedral; the oldest Roman Catholic diocese in Uganda and also the home church of Archbishop of Kampala. Drive to Namirembe cathedral on Namirembe hill, the oldest cathedral for the Anglican church in the country also taken to be the headquarters for the Anglican people in the country. After a visit to these places, you have lunch in one of the restaurants in town. After Lunch, you will visit the Uganda Museum that displays and exhibits ethnological, natural, historical and traditional life collections of Uganda's cultural heritage over the years. You will then proceed to the Uganda Martyrs shrine Namugongo is Roman Catholic minor basilica dedicated to the Ugandan Martyrs who were murdered in cold blood for their Christian faith and finally go at the Bahai temple, the only temple of it Kind in Africa as well as for the Bahai faith in Africa. In the evening after your Kampala city tour, you will transfer back to your hotel for your dinner and overnight.

Early in the morning after a cup of coffee, you will be picked by your guide from the hotel and transfer you to Mukono to the Sezibwa Falls for a cultural safari where you will be told the history about these falls. After this cultural safari,you will proceed to Mabira where you will have your lunch, do a nature walk for about 2 hours and Zip lining. After you will return to your hotel, freshen up, dine and rest.

Day 12 of the 13 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda, wildlife tour & Kampala city tour : Transfer to Ngamba Island by boat and visit the orphaned chimpanzees that live on this island. Have lunch and go for a half day fishing safari on Lake victoria

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a speed boat, the journey is approximately 45 On arrival, visitors are shown to the island’s Interpretation Centre where a chimpanzee caregiver will give the orientation talk. After an interesting briefing you will move to the viewing platform to observe the chimps during their supplementary feeding times. After feeding you are free to explore the island’s visitor’s area and enjoy the facilities. After the Ngamba Trip you will have lunch and after go for your half day fishing safari on Lake Victoria. You will catch fish like tilapia and Nile perch which you will enjoy after your trip. return to your lodge, dine and rest.
