Tourism Revenues in Uganda shoots to $ 1 billion-Uganda safari News
The tourism industry in Uganda has increased its revenues to 1.2 billion earnings and this has been got from the increasing numbers of tourists who have been visiting Uganda for safari tours.
This has mainly been due to massive marketing which has been done by
the ministry of tourism helped by the private sector tour operators with
in Uganda.
Uganda is a tourist destination and this has attracted many tourists who have come for safaris to Uganda.
These come to watch different animals which include; the birds,
elephants, tree climbing lions, giraffes, snakes, monkeys, zebras,
buffalos, hippos many more which are found within the different national
parks of the country.
The government of Uganda has greatly worked ahead the increasing revenues since it has greatly helped in encouraging
the promotion and marketing of the tourism sector with in the country.
It has also helped in putting in place many laws which are towards
paying off the local people for whatever they loss because of tourism
development. This has helped in increasing the number of people who come
for safari visits to Uganda.
Uganda has got many attractions which have helped in increasing the number of travellers to Uganda; these are mainly the mountain gorillas and the chimpanzees which have helped in attracting many safaris
with in Uganda. There are also many other attractions which include;
the national parks, wildlife species like the monkeys, lions, elephants
and many more, water bodies , many species of Birds
