Rwanda’s annual Kwita Izina, which also involves the Rwanda’s traditional way of naming the mountain gorillas. this ceremony is loved by many tourists who have decided to take up tour visits to Rwanda.
Many tourists have greatly participated in this ceremony which has helped in generating high revenues to the country. This ceremony is so important to the tourism sector since it has continuously attracted many tourists to the country which helped in increasing the revenues of the tourism sector. This has also led to the development of the country.
Rwanda has encouraged a lot of sustainable tourism which has helped in increasing the conservation and preservation of the mountain gorillas. This ceremony was launched in 2005 and it has brought about naming 173 baby gorillas by many different people, these are mainly conservationists, presidents and many more. This has encouraged many people to engage in gorilla safaris in Rwanda.
This event has greatly helped in creating awareness and promoting the tourism sector of Rwanda to the outside world.at the same time the country is known as a tourist destination which has greatly promoted the development of tourism with in the country. The local community has also engaged in the development and in the conservation of tourism in the country.

Mountain Gorilla Behavior,Diet,Threats and Predators
