Samuel Baker’s Trail to promote tourism in Uganda-Uganda safari News
Sir Samuel Baker has always been known as the man who discovered the source of the Nile in Uganda. This place has greatly attracted many tourists who have decided to come for safaris to Uganda. The source of Nile is an exciting place with lots of adventure which can satisfy you on your safari. Many people have tried to discover the source of the Nile by having a boat cruise on Nile River.
However,
the grandsons of the Late Samuel Baker have decided to retrace the
footsteps of their grand Father who worked hard at fighting slave trade
in Uganda. This will help in attracting more tourists to come for safari tours to Uganda. This will help in increasing the revenues of the country and also developing the tourism sector.
This kind of history is so important to the tourism sector since many tourists have decided to take up safari visits to Uganda which
will help in increasing the revenues which are collected from the
tourism sector in Uganda. The development of the trail is to be done by Uganda wildlife Authority which will be able to spot all the trails which Sir Samuel Baker used.
However, Uganda has got a lot to offer apart from the Trail of Sir Samuel Baker. There are the mountain gorillas which are found in Bwindi impenetrable national park, and these have attracted many gorilla trekking safaris, the chimpanzees, the wildlife which is found in the national parks, the birds, cultural sites, city tours and many more which have attracted many safaris to Uganda
