Day 1 of the 6 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda & Lake Mburo Queen wildlife safari tour: Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park at your lodging facility with a stopover at the Equator and for lunch in Mbarara at Igongo cultural centre
Wake to an early morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and after prepare to set off for
Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 2 of the 6 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda & Lake Mburo Queen wildlife safari tour: Do a game drive very early in the morning and go for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel for about 2 hours
Your game drive will start very early in the morning at around 6:30 giving you chance to catch the early morning risers along the Kasenyi trail. During the game drive, expect to see several wild game including elephants, antelopes, water bucks, buffaloes, lions, kobs and several birds that habit within this park. The game drive will take about 2-3 hours depending on your interests. Return to the lodge for your breakfast, relax and have lunch their too.
After your lunch, return to the park for your most rewarding boat cruise along the 45km Kazinga channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This river is filled with lots of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants at the banks. You are likely to see spotted hyenas and leopards, bushbuck, waterbuck and stripped jackal and of-course the several warthogs. After the launch cruise will take short evening game drive as you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 of the 6 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda & Lake Mburo Queen wildlife safari tour: Transfer from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector
Your driver guide will pick you at your hotel in the morning after breakfast and transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha. The Ishasha trail will give you a rewarding viewing of the Tree climbing lions as they wind in their natural habitat. Have lunch in Ishasha and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to your prior booked hotel.
Day 4 of the 6 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda & Lake Mburo Queen wildlife safari tour: Do gorilla trekking safari Uganda and after transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening boat cruise
Early morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a
Uganda gorilla trekking safari briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority park rangers. You will be given a guideline booklet which you will go through and know how you have to behave while in the forest with or near the gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable forest is so spectacular that it offers a good view of the forested landscape which is incredibly dense and intersected by a numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists to see the gorillas. Carry with you your packed Lunch and water because the time taken to see the Gorillas varies according to the movements of the Gorillas so it may take 2-8hours. The experience got from seeing the Gorillas is so exciting and unforgettable so enjoy your 1 hour that will be given to you to spend with these gorillas.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Uganda driving for about 3 hours to your prior booked lodge for refreshments, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 of the 6 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda & Lake Mburo Queen wildlife safari tour: You will do a boat cruise along the Lake and after transfer from Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo National Park for your boat cruise
After breakfast, you will set out for a hired canoe cruise on Lake Bunyonyi with a guide, you will travel around Lake Bunyonyi as you search for different bird species on over 29 Islands of the Lake. Later return to the Lodge for lunch and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park Uganda driving for about 5 hours. Arrive and check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6 of the 6 Days Bwindi gorilla safari Uganda & Lake Mburo Queen wildlife safari tour: Do a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park and after transfer back to Kampala at your lodge or airport for your flight
After breakfast, in the beautiful
Lake Mburo National Park; a haven for “impalas” small antelopes and herbivorous are most concentrated in this park of all the Ugandan national Parks. There are also many beautiful impalas after which Kampala; the capital city of Uganda was named.
You will do an afternoon boat cruise along Lake Mburo National Park where you will gaze at the huge hippos, crocodiles and buffaloes as they drink water. There are attractive birds to check out like Abyssinian ground hornbill, the crested crane (Uganda’s national emblem), saddle bill storks among others. This boat is good for visitors on
Uganda birding safaris as well as
Uganda wildlife safaris since you get chance to see a lot of birds and animals as they quench their thirst in Lake Mburo. Retire and transfer back to Kampala arriving in the evening to your hotel or to Entebbe International airport for your flight.
