Arrive at Entebbe international airport. You will be met by our Staff from Prime Uganda Safaris & Tours who will transfer you to your hotel. After checking depending on you arrival time, embark on the Kampala city tour and visit prominent places like: Namugongo matyres shrine, Bahai temple, Uganda Museum, Makerere University, Kasubi tombs, Iteso cultural dance near Kasubi, Namirembe and Rubaga cathedral, Buganda Kingdom Palace plus the Kabaka’s lake, shopping arcades in town and craft shops including National theater. Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala and have a stopover at the equator for photographs, Proceed to Bwindi making a traditional lunch stop at the Igongo Cultural Museum where organically produced food is served freshly in a local touch not compromising the standards. You continue on the drive to arrive in Bwindi in the evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight

You will have an early morning entry into the Uganda mountain gorilla sanctuary. Embark on your Rwanda gorilla safari after breakfast; drive to Kisoro and cross the Rwandan Border to Ruhengeri. The views of the Kigezi Highlands combined with the Virunga Mountain chain make your drive to Volcanoes beyond the ordinary. You can undertake a boat cruise on the twin lakes of Burela and Ruhondo where you interact with the local fishermen and do sight-seeing on the lake.

You will be early for briefing by the guide at Kinigi Park headquarters in the Volcanoes National Park. The early arrival offers you opportunity to explore the Kinyarwanda traditional performances and also the hot cup of coffee that will enable you cope up with the coldness of the Mountains. After gorilla family allocation, you connect to the trail head to embark on the trekking encounter. The trek takes you to the Volcanoes exploring the steep mountain slopes covered with lush flora which supports not only gorillas but other fauna like buffaloes and duikers. The birds are also in existence including the Albertine endemics. The eventual encounter with the gorillas as they forage and socialize is rewarding. The views of the gigantic silverback with its impressive silver patch and frightening eyes along with the young ones preferring to play most of the time makes the trekking encounter memorable. Retreat from the activity and embark on the transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (Uganda) driving along the scenic Virunga massif and the views of Kigezi Highlands. Retire for dinner and overnight.

Your safari to Uganda resumes after an early breakfast. You will drive to Lake Mburo National Park passing through the lush green country side landscapes of south western Uganda before approaching Mbarara town – the largest in the sub region where you will proceed for 12km to make a stop at Igongo Cultural center for traditional lunch. After lunch, you proceed for 33km to Lake Mburo National Park entering through Sanga gate. Upon arrival, embark on an evening game walking safari exploring the park’s savannah landscapes dotted with acacia associated flora. The walk offers you opportunities to explore herds of zebra, Cape buffalo, Rothschild giraffe, Impala, eland, the oribi and topi before settling for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After early breakfast, head to Kampala 240km about 3 – 4 hours’ drive passing through the traditional rangelands of Banyankole pastoralists with their long-horned cattle and a mixture of the exotic ones. You continue in the drive to Kampala before making another stop at Uganda Equator crossing Kayabwe for amazing photo shoots and water experiments that justify the geographical divide between the northern and southern hemisphere. Proceed for 77km to Kampala and more 40km to Entebbe International Airport for your flight departure back home.
