Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Mgahinga National Park to your booked hotel/lodge
You are required to wake up early and start your journey to Mgahinga National Park Uganda. your Uganda safari guide will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning at around 6am, he will give you a short briefing about your 4 Days Uganda wildlife tour. You will then leave Kampala and drive south west to Kisoro with en route at the Equator and lunch in Mbarara Town. While at the Equator, you will have chance to step in two hemispheres at the same time, do a polar water experiment, tour the souvenir shops around and take photographs as well. Embark on your journey to Mbarara for lunch and then proceed to Mgahinga National Park. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery as you sit back and admire the Kigezi highlands, the sloppy terraces of Kisoro, thousands of plantations on the road side,Day 2: You will do a gorilla trekking safari Uganda in Mgahinga National Park and after transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, our driver will drive you to Mgahinga National Park headquarters for your Uganda gorilla trekking safari arriving in time for briefing. Before briefing, your passport details will be required to make sure that you are eligible to trek mountain gorillas. This will be followed by briefing about your gorilla safari Uganda from one of the UWA rangers about gorilla trekking, dos and don’ts and instructions to be followed on the trek, with the gorillas and after the trek. You will then be led into the forest by the pack rangers in search for the gorillas. Upon sighting them, you will be restricted to an hour with them. In this hour, you will have an opportunity to watch them feed, play, build their nests, shy away from you which gives you an opportunity to photograph each moment that catches your eye. After the activity, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi the deepest lake in Uganda Africa situated in Kabale district. Lake Bunyonyi is the best place to relax after your gorilla trek. You will have a boat cruise to take you to several islands located in Lake Bunyonyi each with its different history. You may also choose to hike hills surrounding Lake Bunyonyi or do some birding like the grey crowned crane, red-chested sun birds, and many flycatchers. Bilharzia is reliably reported to be absent from the lake, as are crocodiles and hippos, which means that swimming is very safe. Retreat, dine and rest at your lodge.
