Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park for Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Day 1 of the 6 days Murchison Kibale Semuliki National Park primate and wildlife safari Uganda: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park for Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked and briefed by your driver guide about the adventurous safari tour Uganda and then embark on your road trip to Murchison Falls National Park. This
Uganda wildlife safari tour will start as early as 6:00am from Kampala-Uganda’s capital. On your way to the park, you will have an en route at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary in Nakasongola district,164km from Kampala and 128km to Murchison falls national park via Kampala-Masindi road. While at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, you will have chance to track the White rhinos in Uganda on foot. Later check in at your prior booked lodge for your overnight and dinner.

Day 2 of the 6 days Murchison Kibale Semuliki National Park primate and wildlife safari Uganda: Do an early morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park and an afternoon Launch Cruise along the world’s longest river; River Nile and hike to the top of the falls
Wake up to a cold beautiful morning at your hotel in Murchison falls national park where you will be picked by your Uganda safari guide. You will set off for an early game view drive on the North of the Nile. While on this trail, expect to see Lions, buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribi and baboons among others. This game drive lasts for about 2-4 hours then you return to the hotel for breakfast. Later at around 2pm in the afternoon after your hot lunch at your hotel, you will have a launch cruise to the bottom of the falls. While enjoying this fantastic wildlife experience, you will spot a big number of hippos, large crocodiles, and some small herds of buffaloes. As part of this beautiful adventure, you will watch lots of birdlife along the papyrus banks of the Nile river. Don’t not forget to watch out for one of the most sought birds in Uganda; the shoebill stork. After this experience of about 2 hours, you will hike to the top of the falls, a lovely scene for viewing the world’s most powerful falls and the park as well. This hiking experience is about 1 hour. You will find your guide waiting for you and then drive back to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 of the 6 days Murchison Kibale Semuliki National Park primate and wildlife safari Uganda: Do morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park and transfer to Lake Albert for sightseeing.
Wake to another interesting morning, have breakfast and get set for another morning game drive in the park which will last 3-4 hours depending on your interests. During the game drive, you will see more animal species include; warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, waterbucks, Ugandan kob, oribi, hartebeest, sitatunga, bushbucks, duikers, mongoose, genet, hyenas, jackals, elephants among others. This morning game drive is rich as you will see the animals out in the open. You will also sight several bird species during the game drive. Have lunch and transfer to lake Albert for beautiful views of the Rift valley escarpment and after return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 of the 6 days Murchison Kibale Semuliki National Park primate and wildlife safari Uganda: Transfer to Fort Portal and visit the crater lakes and the Amabere ga Nyinamwiru
Wake up to a relaxed breakfast and after transfer to the to Fort Portal to the crater lakes and later to the Amabere ga Nyinamwiru. The Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves are one of the most interesting sights in western Uganda. The English translation of Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru is the breasts of Nyina Mwiru. Amabere Caves and the three surrounding Explosion Crater Lakes make a visit to the area a most interesting half day adventure and it can be easily taken in on your way to Queen Elizabeth Park. These caves are hidden away in the Toro Kingdom found in Western Uganda. After the visit, you will transfer to Kibale Forest National Park to your prior booked hotel for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 of the 6 days Murchison Kibale Semuliki National Park primate and wildlife safari Uganda: Do chimpanzee trekking and afternoon walk in Bigodi Wetland/ You may also choose to do chimpanzee habituation which takes the whole day.
Early morning after breakfast at the lodge, report to Kanyanchu at around 7:30am for your briefing at 8am from the park ranger guides about your
chimpanzee trekking safari Uganda before you start trekking. After the briefing, start your journey into the forest with the rangers in search for chimpanzees and other primates including the red-tailed monkeys, blue monkey, black and white colobus monkey, olive baboons among others. The forest an array of birds including the grey-throated flycatcher, masked and black-capped apalis among the many in a park that is home to over 375 bird species. Retreat from the activity and have lunch.
After lunch proceed to Bigodi village to the fascinating Bigodi wetland sanctuary located in Magombe swamp. Bigodi wetland is an area is recognized for an extensive collection of bio diversity among which are several primate species like the red colobus monkey, baboon, black and white colobus monkey, blue monkey grey cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkey, red tailed monkey and the L’Hoest monkey. The wetland is also a cool and a perfect birders paradise for visitors on a
Uganda birding safari. While here, skilled birders can spot over 50 bird species out of over the 138 species of bird have been recognized in Bigodi Wetland.
After your happy knowledge rich afternoon and interaction with the locals at Bigodi, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
