The 2015 expo for hotels and restaurants move Kampala – Uganda safari news
The
2015 edition of the Hotel & Restaurants Expo presented its self as
one if the rewarding encounters in Kampala the city of Uganda which is a
starting point for various safaris in Uganda.
The event which was hosted at Kampala Sheraton hotel Gardens and the Lion Center concurring with Kampala Restaurant week came at the time when the Ugandan cuisine is increasingly gaining popularity as the Uganda safari undertakers continue to fall in love with it.
The expo which was open to everyone at 10,000/= nominal fee for the adults and the children being offered free entrance had amazing food and drink sampling that left the participants in joyful moments.
The event that is aimed at giving the Uganda’s hospitality industry an opportunity to bring out the progress that they have made regarding the quality of food and the ancillary services and also measuring the gauge with the neighboring Tanzania and Kenya as an effort to close the gaps that may exist. This is meant to enhance the client satisfaction including those that are on Uganda safaris and tours.
The winners of the competition are to be treated to 2 million Uganda shillings courtesy of Sudhir Ruparelia. This is to be supplemented with gift hampers, trophies along with other goodies for the runner ups and the winners.
The Uganda Hotel Owners Association has been behind this expo with support with various operators and the hotel industry. The Association is noted to have been at the forefront of enhancing industry standards and building a sustainable service industry that will in turn prompt more travelers to plan safaris to Uganda.
