Protecting Chimpanzees for Tourism development-Uganda Safaris and Tours updates
Chimpanzees
in Uganda are mostly found in Kibale National park which is located in
the western Uganda. These primates are frequently visited by many tourists who come for chimpanzee trekking safaris to Uganda.
The chimpanzees are properly conserved and preserved in their habitats, this has however helped in encouraging more visitors to come for chimpanzee tracking safaris to Uganda, and this has however helped in increasing the revenues of the country and also developing the tourism sector of Uganda.
Chimpanzee trekking is an interesting activity which is loved by many tourists who visit Uganda and they normally take many days while trekking the chimps, this has helped however in raising enough money to preserve and conserve the chimpanzees in Uganda.
Chimpanzees
are found in many areas which include Kyambura gorge which is found in
Queen Elizabeth National Park, and also in Budongo forest which is
located in Masindi, all these places have helped in increasing chimpanzee safaris to Uganda.
There
are however many organizations which have collaborated with UWA to help
in conserving the primates in order to increase the number of safaris to Uganda
