Conservation plans in Bwindi and Mgahinga- Uganda Safaris and Tours updates
Bwindi and Mgahinga National parks are located in the western part of Uganda and they have got many mountain gorillas which have helped in attracting many visitors to come for mountain gorilla trekking safaris to Uganda, this has greatly helped in increasing the revenues of the country and also the development of the tourism sector.
Mountain gorillas in this place are not well conserved and preserved since they are considered to be endangered animals which need to be well protected, this is so important since it will help in attracting more tourists to come for gorilla tracking safaris to Uganda hence helping in increasing the revenues of the sector.
The Bwindi Mgahinga conservation trust fund was established in order to conserve and also protect the mountain gorillas so that the number of people who come for gorilla safaris can increased since the primates are well protected in their habitants. This will help in developing the tourism sector in Uganda.
This plan of conservation will mainly focus on the biodiversity and ecosystem health of Mgahinga gorilla
national park and Bwindi Impenetrable National park, this will be to
conserve the harmony with the development needs of the surrounding
communities, and this will help to engage the local communities in the
conservation hence helping in increasing gorilla safaris to Uganda.
