Gorilla trekking is mostly done in Bwindi impenetrable National Park and they are many Groups which are tracked by the tourists and these include; The Nkuringo gorilla group, the mubare group and Habinyanja group and many other groups which have greatly attracted many gorilla visits to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Gorilla tracking in Uganda has greatly brought about many benefits to Uganda and these include; a vital conservation tool to Uganda. Mountain gorillas have contributed to the conservation and preservation of the national park where they living. Gorilla safaris in Uganda have led to infrastructural development in the areas where the creatures are found especially the construction of lodges and roads in Bwindi impenetrable National Park which has facilitated the tourists who come for gorilla trips to Uganda.
The promotion of Gorilla trekking in Uganda has helped in controlling of poachers who continuously hunt down the mountain gorillas for other benefits apart from conservation and tourism preservation. These have been controlled through providing security to different groups of mountain gorillas hence limiting the Poachers.trekking
Gorilla trekking has greatly promoted many safaris which are combined with the tracking of chimpanzees in Kibale National Park and many more game drives which are carried out by tourists with the park and in other parks near Bwindi impenetrable National Park. All in all gorillas trekking has greatly contributed to the development of Uganda as well as the tourism sector at large.
