ROYAL ORCHID TO OPEN SH150 MILLION HOTEL IN KENYA’S MAASAI MARA – AFRICA SAFARI NEWS

masaiRoyal Orchid one of the India’s fastest hotel chains looks forward to building of a 150 million shilling lush five star facility close to the Kenya Safari destination of Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Named Mara Azure, this accommodation facility is nestled along the banks of Telek River and has 60 bed capacity configured in 12 Luxury tents and five star cottages all well set to serve the affluent travelers on Africa safaris in Kenya. The lodge will come along with what the chain has called sizeable conference facilities.
The lodge presents a perfect base for exploring the wonders of Maasai Mara National Reserve including the Great Migration where Millions of Wildebeest accompanied by hundreds of thousands of Zebras and Thompson Gazelle cross the crocodile infested Mara River from the Serengeti plains and back every year to graze of the verdant lush green of Maasai Mara Reserve. It is one natural wonders of the earth and indeed worth exploring even as an extension on Uganda Gorilla Safari.
The facility will be strategically set on a 25 acre piece with the views of wildlife for guests even in the comfort of their rooms. The Mara Azure is likely to be opened in December and the proprietors anticipate extending competitive price offers to the clientele.  Interestingly, the chain is also extending the health services available at its Nairobi outlet and at much reduced prices of Shs 2,000 which is lower than Shs15,000 charged in Nairobi while the community will only pay Shs 200 for consultation and treatment. The proprietors are still in negotiations with the local officials about setting up of the health unit.
The management at Mara Azure note that guests from Russia and Italy have already booked some rooms even before the lodge is officially opened up for occupancy.  Royal Orchid adds this to its East African Hotel and lodge portfolio.  This is a positive trend as the bed count in the region keeps on increasing serving the increasing demand of travellers planning Safaris to East Africa including safaris to Uganda Kenya and Tanzania.
