This trek starts at the Kilembe base camp located (1,450m). Kilembe is a 12 kilometers drive from Kasese or 32 kilometers from Queen Elizabeth national park. The 2.5 km walk is tough but worth it because of its scenery. This walk leads you to the park gate (1727 m) for orientation about the park and the memorable trip you’re set for. This is a premium Rwenzori trip that is tailored to take you to Margherita (5019m). However, the length of trekking depends on your choice and budget.
