Situated in Volcanoes National Park Rwanda with a height of about 3711meters (12,175ft), Mount Bisoke is a perfect description of a Volcano characterized with a deep crater lake and the largest in the range. Mount Bisoke last erupted in 1957, and straddles the border of Rwanda and Congo however, its peak and the two craters are in Rwanda. It being the easiest volcanic mountain in the Virunga ranges that can be hiked or trekked while on a safari in Rwanda, the Mount Bisoke adventure is one of the best memorable activities to do in Volcanoes National Park Rwanda. Hiking to the top of this mountain lasts about 6 hours including the 2 hours used to descend down to the starting point. How to dress

Be ready in your Sturdy boots, in a long-sleeved shirt, long trousers, head gear. have a rain rain-jacket with you, hat with wide brim, and have a day-pack including water and packed lunch. You may also decide to carry something else you think may be helpful for your health.
