Arriving at Entebbe International Airport on the shores of Lake Victoria, you are cleared by the airport staff then after meet a your safari driver guide ready to not only transfer you to your booked accommodation facility but also take you through your Uganda-Rwanda tour. Driven in a 4x4 safari vehicle, you go past the people of Uganda running their daily activities in markets along the roadside for about 50km on almost a 1 hour's drive. As you continue with your Rwanda wildlife safari, this morning, you go to Nyungwe forest for chimpanzee trekking that starts at 8:00am, you spend about 2-4hours trekking the chimpanzees then after return to the park headquarters. In the forest you also come along several bird species (about 300), several flora species and numerous butterflies. After lunch, you will be driven for about 30 minutes to Nyungwe forest’s Uwinka tourist reception center for the start of the canopy walk. This 2-hour memorable walk takes you on a tour walking 50m above the ground for 200meters which is a breathtaking experience you cannot compare to any other canopy experience or 2 hours experience. You then spend the night at your lodging facility.
