Day 1: Transfer to Jinja with a stopover at the Sezibwa falls for a cultural safari Uganda, Mabira Forest for a nature walk and birding This amazing day will start with an early morning breakfast at your lodge or hotel in Kampala. After breakfast, you will meet and greet with our professional Uganda safari driver guide who will give you a short briefing about your 10 days Uganda adventure safari tour. After the short briefing, get your bags ready and packed into your safari vehicle and set off for Jinja driving along the Kampala-Jinja road for about 80km in about 2hours. Along the way, you will stopover at the Sezibwa Falls in Mukono for a Uganda cultural safari and at Mabira forest for an eco-safari, nature walk as well as a simple birding tour Uganda. From there, proceed to Jinja at a lodge that was prior booked for you for your stay that night. Arrive at your lodge, check in, dine and rest. You may have your lunch along the way or in Jinja depending on your choice.
Day 2: Do your Rafting safari in the morning along River Nile and a horseback riding safari in the afternoon Have breakfast at your lodging facility very early in the morning. After breakfast, you will be picked by your driver guide report to the rafting starting point on time for the most thrilling adventurous activity done along the world’s longest river waters. You will be briefed about your half day Uganda rafting safari, allocated a group and a given costume for rafting. Rafting starts at 9am and lasts about 3 hours. After rafting, you will have lunch and after go for your horseback riding safari in the afternoon that starts at 2pm. Horse riding lasts about 2 hours and is done by people that are not more than 90kg. After the activity, you will return to your lodge, freshen up, dine and relax.
Day 3: Do your Quad biking safari in the morning and a boat cruise to the source of the Nile in the afternoon After an early morning breakfast at your lodging facility, you will be picked by your driver guide from the hotel to the quad biking offices where the activity will start. Upon arrival at the offices, you will register, get a briefing from the quad bike operators and after your activity will start. You will drive yourself through the farms, forests and small villages along the banks of the River Nile as you explore its beautiful stretches. This activity lasts about 3hours. After riding, you will proceed to a restaurant for lunch as you prepare for your boat cruise along the River Nile in the afternoon. While on your boat cruise, you will ride to the source of the world’s longest river, see lots of water birds, and many more. Return from your boat cruise and drive around Jinja before you return to your lodge. Return to your lodge, relax and dine.
Day 4: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with en route to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Very early in the morning after your breakfast at your lodge, you will pack your bags with your guide in your safari vehicle and proceed with your 10 days Uganda adventure safari to Murchison Falls National Park Uganda. You will use the Kayunga-Luwero-Masindi road covering a distance of about 336km driving for about 5-6 hours. You will have lunch in Masindi and after proceed to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your Rhino tracking safari for about 2 hours. Continue with your journey with to Murchison Falls National Park to a lodge that was prior booked for your stay that day. Arrive at your hotel, check in and dine a rest.
Day 5: You will do a morning game drive in the park and an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile, and hike to the top of the falls After a cup of coffee at your hotel, you will set out at 6am for your morning game drive in the park. A morning game drive is very interesting since you will be able to see a good number of animals as they set out to go and catch their prey. During your game drive, expect to see animals like lions, leopards, elephants, and many more. You will also sight several bird life that also calls the park home. This morning game drive lasts about 3-4 hours depending on your interest. After your game drive, you can return to the lodge for proper breakfast, rest and have lunch as well or you can have lunch inside the restaurants in the park. After your early lunch, you are expected to be at paraa jetty for the boat at 2pm. Your boat cruise will last about 2hours and then you hike to the top o the falls for about an hour. You will find your guide at the top waiting for you after which you will do a simple game drive as you return to your lodge. Arrive at the lodge, freshen up, relax and dine.
Day 6: Transfer from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park to a hotel that was prior booked for you On this day, you will have breakfast very early in the morning at your lodge, pack your bags and after set off for your journey with your guide to Kibale National Park. The distance from Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale National Park is about 343km driving for about 7 hours. On your way, you will be able to enjoy an impressive sight of the legendary “Mountains of the Moon” which you will clearly see on your way to Fort Portal. You will have lunch in Fort portal, and after proceed to your lodge, check in, dine and rest.
Day 7: Do your chimpanzee trekking safari Uganda in the “Primate capital of the world” Kibale National Park and an afternoon walk in the Bigodi wetland and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Take your breakfast very early in the morning so you can be at Kanyachu; Kibale’s park headquarters by 8am. Arrive at the park headquarters for registration and briefing by the park rangers about the conduct of the chimpanzee trekking safari Uganda. After your briefing, you will be led into the forest for this half day activity. As part of your adventure, you will see other primates such as Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Phoestes, Red-Colobus and the Blue tailed and the Red-tailed monkeys swinging in the branches of this thick forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates as well as the plants as well as on the insects and butterflies in this forest to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but informative as well. Day 8: Do a very early morning game drive in the park and an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel Take a cup of coffee early in the morning, and set out for your game drive along the Kasenyi trail in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This early morning game drive will enable you catch the early morning risers as they set out to go and look for the prey of the day. Your game drive in the park will introduce you to quite a big number of animals in the park including; the Uganda Kobs, elephents, water bucks, as well as several bird species. After your game drive in the park, you will return to the lodge for proper breakfast and lunch after your 2-3 hours game drive in the park. Later in the afternoon, after your lunch, you will go for your 2pm boat cruise along the Kazinga channel; a river that connects Lake Edward to Lake George. As part of your adventure, you will be exposed to the biggest concentration of hippos in the Africa and crocodiles as well as water birds. The boat cruise along the Kazinga channel lasts about 2 hours. Retire from the activity and do a game drive as you return to the lodge. Freshen up, relax and dine.
Day 9: Visit the crater lakes in the morning and do an afternoon game drive in the park, retire and return to your lodge Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to some of the best places to visit in to see the explosion crater Lakes especially Lake Katwe. After the visit, you do an afternoon game drive and after return the lodge.
Day 10: Return to Kampala for your flight or to your hotel with en route at Mbarara for lunch and at the Equator Early in the morning after your breakfast, prepare to leave this part of the world back to Kampala for your flight or to your hotel as you may advise. On your way back, you will have lunch in Mbarara and after you will proceed to the equator for a polar water experiment, photos and many more. The journey will last 7 hours excluding the stopovers.
