Uganda to improve tourism through classifying hotels-Uganda safari news
Classifying hotels is so essential to the tourism industry and this will help in increasing the number of tourists who come for safaris to Uganda. However the failure by the government to classify the accommodation facilities in Uganda has resulted into a big challenge which has affected the tourism sector.
The
classification of hotels has mainly delayed due to the lack of funds
from the government. It’s known that the east African community asked
all the responsible governments to grade hotels and other public
accommodation facilities, since this will help in increasing the number
of tourists who safari Uganda. Thus this will help in developing the tourism sector.
The
grading of the hotels will help in earning the country high revenues
which will later help in developing and improving the tourism sector.
This is because ungraded hotels tends to turn away tourists and they end up going to other countries hence losing high amount of revenues.
Hotels not graded
leads to cheating of the clients since they don’t have enough
information about the hotels where they sleep in. This also makes it
difficult to compete with other countries which have their hotels
graded. Therefore the failure by the government of Uganda to classify the hotels has made it hard to come up with standard charges.
The
hotels can be graded according to stars and these include; 5 stars, 4
stars, 3 stars, 2 stars, 1 star, here the clients can easily chose the hotels that they would wish to stay in while they come for safari tours to Uganda.
