tourism_pixUganda is one of the top tourist destinations in Africa because of its tourist attractions which are located within the country, these include; the mountain gorillas which are found in Bwindi Impenetrable national park and Mgahinga national park, chimpanzees, bird species, cultures, and many more which have attracted safaris to Uganda.
Tourism development In Uganda is mainly too harnessed to improve the lives of the local people, since most of them especially those living near the national parks are encouraged to participate directly in the conservation and preservation of the wildlife with in the parks since it attracts more tourists to come for Uganda safaris.
Tourism is one of the largest and the fastest growing sector in the country and this means that it has contributed high revenues to the development of the country. Travelers have greatly visited the national parks, which have got variety of plant species, animal species. And many more, these national parks are adventurous and provide complete experience to the tourists who come for safari tours.
Uganda has greatly generated high revenues from the tourism sector since the government has put in a lot of efforts in the improvement of the tourism sector with in the country. This has been through the renovation of both the roads and the hotels which are commonly used by the travelers who visit Uganda.
