There is sabyinyo silverback lodge sits on 8 hectares of a forest of trees and also other species and it’s near the mountain gorillas which have attracted many gorilla trekking safaris to Rwanda.
This lodge is located 17 kilometres from Musanze town and it belongs to Sabyinyo community where the local people have greatly benefited by being employed and also earning a lot of incomes from engaging in tourism development. This lodge has greatly helped in engaging the local people in the development of tourism in the area.
The silverback lodge has helped in harnessing tourism for growth for tourism and also improving the lives of the local people. Rwanda has got many tourist lodges which are found in different parks, some of these lodges include; kinigi gorilla lodge, muhabura hotel, Gorilla nest lodge and many more which have facilitated tourists who come for safaris to Rwanda.
The partnership between the government and the Rwanda tourism development board has greatly helped in improving the lodging and the hotel industry since there has been an improvement in the increase of tourists who prefer to use these hotels. However, this has helped in increasing the number of visitors who come for safari tours to Uganda.
