UGANDA IS A BETTER TOURISM DESTINATION THAN SPAIN WHAT NEXT? – UGANDA SAFARIS NEWS


uganda safari imagesAfter a recent debate that was sparked off by the President of Republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Museveni about who is a better tourist  country between Uganda and Spain, the poll was conducted by the UK based website called the Guardian conducted a poll that over the issue that saw Uganda emerge as the best with 79% against Spain with 21% with more travellers noting that they would rather undertake safaris to Uganda than Spain.
Like how the President had mentioned that Uganda’s problem is poor marketing but not shortage of tourist products that would be encountered by travellers on safaris in Uganda. He notes of how Uganda Tourism Board promotes a few chimpanzees leaving out a great deal of attractions including the amazing scenic views of Rwenzori Mountains, the mild beautiful climate among other products that can be encountered on Uganda safaris.
From this background, one would definitely note that the next issue to concentrate on regarding tourism in Uganda is marketing. Strategic marketing technique have to adopted, effective promotional channels identified, unique selling prepositions of Uganda identified and necessary resources gathered so as to embark on aggressive and effective marketing that would see Uganda’s tourism potential realized and travellers undertaking safari tours to Uganda increased.

ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY RE-OPENS On 10 th June 2021, the government through Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) re-opened Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to travelers on Uganda safaris after 50 days of closure.
