UGANDA EMERGES THE BEST TOURISM DESTINATION THAN SPAIN – UGANDA SAFARI NEWS

uganda gorilla toursThe President of Republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Museveni of recent sparked off a debate of the best holiday spot between Uganda and Spain. In his opinion, he noted that Uganda is a better tourist spot than Spain and would pull many Uganda safari undertakers but is affected by poor promotion. The President accuses of Uganda Tourism Board which he provokes as Tourism Suppression Board of promoting only few chimpanzees.
He noted that Uganda has got beautiful mild summer climate compared to Spain which has very hot and humid climate. This means that most travellers in Europe that go Spain in summer would definitely feel better if they undertook a safari holiday in Uganda.
After these remarks, the world was set ablaze and a UK based website, the Guardian carried out an opinion poll on what would be the best holiday destination between Uganda and Spain with a simple question that read Uganda or Spain: where would you prefer to go on holiday? In return, the opinion revealed that the travelers would be more inclined towards planning safaris to Uganda than Spain which was supported by 79% against 21%.
The lonely Planet had earlier ranked as the number one tourism spot in the world for the year 2012 citing the source the Nile which is a mythical place that was sought since Roman times, the point of meet between savannah and the vast lakes of East Africa and where the snow-capped mountains bear down on sprawling jungles. This comes along with the thrilling gorilla trekking encounter, Chimpanzee trekking and the impressive wildlife safaris.

ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY RE-OPENS On 10 th June 2021, the government through Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) re-opened Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to travelers on Uganda safaris after 50 days of closure.
