The
world travel exhibitions are annual events that are always conducted in
different countries to pose a ground through which world travel can be
made easier and travellers are enabled to know a range of products
through which they can choose from including Uganda safari products.
Uganda as one of the East Africa’s prime destinations has always participated in these fairs and travel exhibitions represented by the Uganda Tourism Board and individual tour operators but all with an aim of attracting travellers to undertake safari holidays in Uganda. A range of Uganda tourist products are showcased including Uganda gorilla tracking tours, Chimpanzee safaris in Uganda, wildlife safaris in Uganda and cultural holidays in Uganda.
For this year, the World Travel Markets Exhibition is scheduled to take place from 3rd to 5th November 2014 in London United kingdom of which Uganda has confirmed her attendance. In the process of helping private tourism initiatives like tour and travel companies to get access to such marketing plat forms, Uganda Wildlife Authority decided to issue two free tickets through lottery competitions.
In return Mr. Rashid Kayimba and Tony Lugayizi won the tickets and are destined for the event that will see Uganda’s image as a safari destination being uplifted that would in turn prompt travellers to undertake their safari holidays in Uganda. This initiative according to UWA boss Andrew Sseguya is a way of appreciating the tour operators’ efforts in Marketing Uganda.
