THE 2015 EURO BOND TO BOOST TOURISM PROJECTS IN RWANDA– RWANDA SAFARI NEWS

Rwanda is by no means an ordinary destination on African continent. It is well known for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park including other set of tourism activities like wildlife safaris in Akagera National Park and Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest National Park.
It is from this that Rwanda has tourism as one of her priority sectors and thus worthy for investment. The second Euro bond proceeds of about $1billion projected to be issued out in the subsequent year will be directed at constructing Bugesera International Airport and power station that will be generating 150 megawatts.
The construction of Bugesera Airport will provide ideal ground for many aircrafts to land in Rwanda increasing traffic that may later lead to increased safaris to Rwanda. The power project is one of those development projects that Rwanda safari undertakers can greatly benefit from.
The increase in power would help tourism facilities like hotels to access electricity which will in turn ensure the comfort of travelers undertaking safaris in Rwanda.
