gorilla trekking in ugandaUganda has gorilla tracking as the best activity enjoyed by tourists while on their safaris in Uganda. This is done in the famous Uganda Park that is Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where there are four regions when gorilla tracking is done that is Rushaga, Ruhija, Buhooma and Nkuringo all with different families of gorillas and giving a different experience to tourists.
Gorilla trekking starts early at 8:30pm with briefing at the park headquarters then after the rangers lead the tourists to search for the gorillas in the forests. This is quite tiresome but all is covered up when the gorillas are seen. Tourists have the chance to stay and interact with the gorillas for one hour which is so rewarding when seeing gorillas eat, play, and have some of their photo shoots.
While on a gorilla tracking safari tourists put on dull colors like black so as not to scare the gorillas, they have walking sticks and gumboots to enable tem walk through the forests, they carry packed foods and water with because at times gorilla tracking takes 2 to 8 hours. While in the forest there are also different animals that may be seem including the Elephants, giraffes, leopards, Antelopes, birds and so many others. Gorilla tracking is the best activity the tourists always remember on their Uganda safari visit.
