As part of your adventure, you will visit the Akagera National Game Park in Rwanda for a game drive that will get you spot the big 5 game. Day 1: Arrive in Kigali and transfer to Akagera National Park to a hotel that was prior booked for your stay, arrive check in dine and rest

Upon arrival at the Kigali International airport, you will find our Uganda Rwanda safari guide waiting for you at the airport. Meet and greet and have a short briefing about your 10 days safari. After the briefing, you will transfer to your hotel in Akagera National Park Rwanda. From Kigali International Park, you will drive a distance of about 105km in about 2hours. Arrive at your hotel, check in dine and rest.

Day 2: Do a morning game drive in the park and a boat cruise along Lake Ihema in the afternoon

Early in the morning, you will take a cup of coffee at our hotel and set after set off for your game drive with your driver guide to the park to catch the early morning risers in the park. This early morning game drive will unwrap new surprises as the Akagera nature reveals its treasures in the form of scenic wonders, precious wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, Topi, Elands, Burchell Zebras, Maasai Giraffes, Savannah Birds, Monkeys, Leopards, Civets, Hyenas, Lions, Serval Cats, Rhinos, and more. After your game drive in the park, you will have lunch and later drive to Lake Ihema for a boat cruise in the afternoon. Lake Ihema has one of the largest concentration of hippos in East Africa, you will also sight very large crocodiles that you may find along the shores of the lake or in the water. Lake Ihema is also blessed with countless water birds and hopefully, you will spot a Shoebill Stork. You will also spot other animals such as Elephants find their way to the lake to water to quench their thirst and to bathe. This boat cruise gives you the opportunity to get closer to them than you would in a vehicle on a game drive.

Day 3: Have a relaxed breakfast early in the morning, get your bags ready and transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park Rwanda to a hotel that was prior booked for you

Wake up to a relaxed breakfast at your lodging facility, get your bag packs ready and set off with your driver guide for Nyungwe Forest National Park situated in Rwanda. The distance from Akagera National Park to Nyungwe National Park is about 322km driving for about 7 hours. Arrive at your lodging facility, check in, freshen up, relax, dine and rest.

Day 4: Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at your lodge and after transfer to Nyungwe National Park headquarters for your chimpanzee trekking safari Rwanda in the morning and a Nyungwe canopy walk in the afternoon. Retire from the activity and later return to the lodge and rest

Very early in the morning before 8am, you will be required to report at the Nyungwe Park Headquarters for your Rwanda chimpanzee trekking safari briefing from the park rangers. You will be briefed about the do’s and don’ts while trekking these chimpanzees and after you will be led into the forest under the guidance of a ranger in search for the chimpanzees. This activity lasts about 3-4 hours, return from the activity, have lunch and go for your canopy walk later in the afternoon. The canopy walk lasts about 2 hours and after you will return to your lodge, freshen up, dine and rest.

Day 5: Transfer from Nyungwe Forest National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda to your hotel where you will spend the night

After your breakfast in the morning at the lodge, prepare this part of the world and set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Uganda to a hotel or lodge that was prior booked for you. You will drive a distance of about 376km in about 9 hours. Arrive at your lodging facility, check in, dine and rest.

Day 6: Do your Uganda gorilla safari in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park very early in the morning and visit the Batwa communities in the evening depending on how you will be feeling after tracking

This day starts very early in the morning with breakfast at the lodge. Get your lunch packed for you because your gorilla trekking activity may go beyond lunch time. You will be required to be at the park headquarters as early as 8am for a briefing about the do’s ad don’ts of a Uganda gorilla safari tour. After the briefing, you will be led into the forest by a park ranger in search for these primates. This activity lasts between 2-8 hours depending on where the gorillas will be. As part f your adventure, you will sight other primates playing in the trees as well as birds. Once you spot the gorillas, you will be restricted to only on hour with these shy primates. Depending on how you will be feeling after your Uganda gorilla trekking safari, you will visit the Batwa communities later in the afternoon before you return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a simple day excursion, you will take a nature walk and have a boat cruise along the Lake

Early in the morning, have breakfast and after transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for an excursion. Bunyonyi means many birds so the lake was christened a lake of many birds. You will take a nature walk in the forests around the park, and take an afternoon boat cruise along the Lake with a guide who will give you a historical briefing about this lake. Return o your lodge, rest and dine.

Day 8: You will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive in the park. After your activity, you will transfer to your lodge, have dinner, dine and rest

Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at the lodge and after your guide will set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival in the park, you will do a simple game drive as you head to your lodge where you will dine and rest.

Day 9: Very early in the morning, you will undertake a morning game drive in the park, return to the lodge for proper breakfast, have lunch and later go for your afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel

On this day, you will take a cup of coffee at your lodge and set out for your early morning game drive in the park where you will catch the early morning risers in the park as they go out to look for a prey. You will spot very many wildlife along the Kasenyi trail including elephants, Uganda kobs, hogs, waterbucks, and many more. The game drive will last 2-3 hours depending on your interest. Return to the lodge for proper breakfast and lunch and after go for your boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will spot several hippos, crocodiles and other animals as they quench their thirst along the river. Return to the lodge, dine and rest.

Day 10: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park to your lodge that was prior booked for your stay on this day

Early in the morning, you will be picked by your driver guide at your hotel of stay after breakfast and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. Your journey will cover about 444km lasting about 9 hours using the Kyenjojo – Hoima road. You will enjoy the rolling hills of a beautiful country site. Arrive at your lodging facility, check in, dine and rest.

Day 11: Do a morning game drive in the park and take a boat cruise along the world’s longest river; River Nile and hike the falls

This day starts very early in the morning at 6am with a morning game drive after your cup of coffee at the lodge. Your guide will take you around to catch the early morning risers in the park as they set out to catch their Prey or to look for what to feed during the day. As part of your adventure, expect to see the big four; elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards and several other animals as well as the birds that call this park a home. The game drive will last about 2-3 hours depending on your choice. Have lunch, and later go for your boat cruise along the river Nile which will give you sight of the world’s most powerful waterfall as well as water animals including hippos, crocodiles and some water birds. The boat lasts about 2 hours, after your boat cruise, you will hike to the top of the falls for about 1 hour and this is where you will find your guide waiting. Return to your lodge dine and rest.

Day 12: Do a morning game drive in the park as you depart this park for your journey back to Kampala with en route to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for your rhino tracking safari and then proceed with your journey back to Kampala for your flight or at the hotel as you will advise

Our last safari day in Uganda will start early in the morning after proper breakfast at your lodge. You will be picked by your driver guide, pack your bags in the car and then set off for the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will do your Rhino safari. You will be briefed and be led by a ranger guide to track your rhinos on foot. Have Lunch in Masindi and after drive back to Kampala for your flight or to your booked hotel as you may advise.
