gorillas in rwandaSince mountain gorillas in Rwanda are considered to be the highest income earners, it has been recognized that they need more focus so that tourists who come mountain gorilla tracking safaris to Rwanda can increase, this will help in increasing the revenues of the tourism sector and also developing the country.
The ministry of Tourism in Rwanda has decided to put its focus in promoting and marketing of the mountain gorillas, since this will help in increasing the number of visitors who come for gorilla trekking safaris in Rwanda hence helping in raising enough revenues from the primates.
Gorilla trekking in Rwanda is so interesting and it’s done by many tourists who come for gorilla safaris to the country. This is because the revenues of the tourism sector in Rwanda have improved in the recent years and this means that mountain gorillas have contributed the highest incomes to the tourism sector.
Even though Rwanda has mainly focused on mountain gorillas, there are many other attractions which have also contributed to the increase of Rwanda’s revenues to the country. These attractions include; the chimpanzees, the birds, the water bodies, the mountains, wildlife and many others. All these have helped in attracting more tourists to come for Rwanda safaris.
The government of Rwanda has however helped in proving funds to the ministry of tourism so that it can be able to funds its projects which will help in improving the tourism sector and also increasing the number of tourists who come for gorilla tracking safaris to Rwanda.
