Your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters for an early morning game drive that starts at 7:00am. This is the best time to see early morning risers as they go out to find the days prey. The drive lasts about 3-4 hours where after you rest for about 2 hours then be driven to the Kazinga channel for an evening boat cruise that starts at 2:00pm and lasts about 2 hours. After sightings of the crocodiles, hippos and water birds in this 45km kazinga channel, you will return to your hotel or lodge for an overnight stay. During briefing by the park rangers, you will be allocated a single gorilla family to trek along with 7 other gorilla trekkers according to your level of physical strength. The activity is strenuous and lasts about 2-8 hours spending only one hour after seeing the gorillas as you gaze at them play and take memorable pictures.
