mwangaBuganda kingdom is the prevalent kingdom amongst all the traditional kingdoms in Uganda and tourists find it awesome meeting people from this kingdom while on their safaris in Uganda. The kingdom comprises of the Ganda people covering almost the half  of the central region of Uganda therefore having a high population.
The Ganda people are the Baganda in plural form and singular is Muganda. The kingdom is led by the most aspiring king known as Ronald Muwenda Mutebi ll and among the Buganda kings he is the thirty sixths. Many tourists on their Uganda safaris get to see the king as they visit the palance of buganda.  The Queen of the kingdom is also known as Queen Sylvia Nagginda with the title known as Nnabagereka and she has helped many girls in Uganda to be disciplined and practice all the cultural norms which tourists witness on their Uganda safari..
The Kingdom in 1966 was abolished by Uganda’s first Prime Minister Milton Obote because of his dictatorial rule together with the president Idi Amin. Idi Amin is a person of history in Uganda and tourists get much of his history as they come on their safaris to Uganda
Fortunately in 1993 the kingdom was restored under the governance of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who is still the president even up to present day.

Mountain Gorilla Behavior,Diet,Threats and Predators
