The park is part of the 320 square kilometres Bwindi Impenetrable forest. While here, continue taking Kabale-Kisoro road and do branch off the Rubanda area and proceed in and enter the park from the Eastern using the Ruhija regional gate and this route takes about 95 kilometres which are about 3-4 hours drive. The same route also takes you to Buhoma which is a northern sector of the National park and alternatively, you will access the Rushaga and Nkuringo sector in the southern part of the park taking the Kisoro route from Kabale and all these regions are active and open for Uganda Safari gorilla tracking activity.
