Day 1 of the 8 Days Uganda gorilla trekking safari Bwindi, Kibale chimpanzee trekking safari & wildlife tour: Transfer from Kampala/ Entebbe at your hotel to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

Early morning, you will be picked from your hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe by our professional driver guide. You will meet and greet, have a short briefing about your 8 Days safari Uganda, park and after set off to Murchison Falls National park, with a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino Tracking that will last about 2 hours. After tracking the Rhinos, you will continue to Murchison Falls National Park with en route lunch in Masindi. Arrive at the park, check in, do a simple game drive as you head to Pakuba Lodge/Paraa Safari Lodge/Red Chilli Hotel where you will spend the night.

Early in the morning, you will have a morning game drive inside the park to catch up with early risers like lion, leopard, hyenas, bush bucks, among others before they return to their hiding places. Return to the hotel for late breakfast, relaxation as you wait for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison falls, which will reward you with view of game as hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, elephants as well as a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge, relax and have dinner and overnight stay.

Very early in the morning after a cup of coffee, you will embark on a scenic journey to Fort Portal; a beautiful town overlooking the mountains of the moon with your guide. This journey will take you through the Western scenic route through the Albertine rift found in the Western arm of Great East African rift valley. You will arrive in Fort Portal in the evening, check in your hotel, relax and refresh at the Lodge. Later on, have dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guest house/ Kibale Primates Lodge/Ndali Lodge.

Day 4 of the 8 Days Uganda gorilla trekking safari Bwindi, Kibale chimpanzee trekking safari & wildlife tour: Chimpanzee tracking, and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have an early morning breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for the chimpanzee briefing by the forest guide at 8am. After the briefing, you will locate the chimps by listening to their pant-hooting calls, then walk to the area from which they are calling. While in the forest, you will see more other primates such as the red colobus, black and white colobus and the red-tailed monkey. Return form the activity, have lunch and after transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving there in the evening. Check in the lodge that was booked for you, have dinner and overnight at Enganzi Lodge/Kyambura game Lodge/Mweya safari Lodge.

After a cup of coffee at your lodge, go for an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in the park giving your chance to see animals like lions, elephants, cape buffalos, warthogs, spotted hyenas, mongoose, waterbucks, Kobs and many more. The game drive will last about 2-4 hours and after drive back to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch. Later in the afternoon, after lunch, your guide will take you proceed for a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. While there, you will watch different animals that come to drink water at the channel and water birds will be viewed along the shores as well as animals such buffalos, elephants, hippos, crocodiles among the many. Return to your lodge for dinner and relax.

After breakfast, set off and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha sector doing a game drive in search for the famous tree climbing lions which are always spotted clinging on old fig trees. Have lunch here and after proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park found in the southern part of the country. Upon arrival, you will relax at the lodge while preparing for the most adventurous activity the next day. Dinner and overnight at Bakiga Lodge/Gorilla Mist Camp.

In the morning after breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park ranger guide about the do’s and don’ts of the gorilla safari tour Uganda. After the briefing, enter the forest with a ranger for your gorilla tracking adventure. You will trek through a steeply forested landscape that is incredibly dense and crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access of gorillas to tourists. Tracking may take 2-8 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas in their natural wild. As soon as you spot the gorillas, you will stay with the gorillas for a maximum of one hour once you encounter them, and then transfer back to your lodge for relaxation. Depending on how you will be feeling after trekking, you may go for community walk in the evening or to Lake Bunyonyi for a boat cruise
