Business Operators of Nakuru insist on Reviews of Levied Taxes-Uganda safari News
The government of Uganda
levied high taxes on the Nakuru businesses including tourism,
industrialization, agriculture, education and many other sectors. This
was unfair to them because they say they cannot afford that high tax or
otherwise they are to close their shops. This will lower down the
economy of Uganda hence reducing safaris to Uganda.
The
business operators said that the sectors have to be reviewed and
reduced so that they may operate. That will help them run their
businesses so as to provide employment opportunities to people and help
fight poverty. This will therefore make Uganda a better place to live in hence promoting more Uganda tours.
The review of taxes will also help the businesses expand so as to make Uganda a place for investment so that investors in form of tourists are attracted to come for safaris to Uganda
so that they can invest in Uganda and boost its economy. This will
promote more visits in Uganda and also boost the tourism sector hence
making Uganda a tourist destination.
